what is ISSI

ISSI is a collaboration of two art historians who set out in 2009 to create an art eco fashion accessory brand. ISSI create all of there accessories from up cycling (up cycling is a little different from recycling up cycling focusses on using fabrics and materials that would are going to be thrown out, this can some times be a little awkward as they can only work with these fabrics and materials so there designs can be limited) They have produced two collections for Estethica LFW so far the first collection was made from old fire hose which looked really great and got amazing media coverage. The second collection has been created by two different types of fabrics 1) leather offcuts from an equestrian saddle makers and 2) canvas off cuts from a framers called John Jones. This collection was collaborated with 3 artists Peter Peri, Georgie Hopton and David Batchelor who each had an input into the collection with their pieces of art.
